Cinna-Vanilla Zucchini Smoothie

I said the other day that if I could only eat one food for the rest of my life it would probably be my smoothies. And I genuinely stand by that. They are so creamy, sweet, cold and satisfying that I probably have one every single day, if not two. I like to add frozen veg to mine to bulk them up and add to the creaminess, and this also means that after I have added all my favourite crunch granolas and cereals to it (cause lbh, it is ALL about the crunch), that it is not exceptionally high in carbs.

Two things I often add as well are vanilla essence and cinnamon as they're just delish flavour enhancers. So this smoothie has both of those, as well as the addition of frozen zucchini! 

Cinna-Vanilla Zucchini Smoothie

Yields1 Serving
 30 g whey protein powder
 200 g frozen zucchini
 1 frozen banana
 1 cup liquid (milk or water)
 1 tsp vanilla extract
 1 tsp cinnamon
 1 tbsp nut butter of choice
 1 tbsp liquid sweetener of choice
 10 cubes of ice

Combine everything except ice into a blender and blend until smooth.

Add ice and blend again. Add more liquid if needed. Taste and adjust flavours and sweetness levels as desired.

Add toppings and enjoy!
